You can be fit at any age….in fact, you can be fitter NOW, than you were when you were 18. Crazy huh….but true.

I wanna talk about Susan for a minute. Susan is one of those ladies who comes to boot camp every morning at 6 am.

She wasn’t always a morning person, but she has made it her priority to get up and show up to boot camp every single day.

Susan isn’t a brassy loud mouth like me. Not at all…she is has a fantastic sense of humour, but when she is working out, she is super focused….I know that when Susan comes to her workout, those 30 minutes are hers. She is not wasting them, she is going to get every last drop of effort out of them.

Now, here’s the thing. I haven’t done Susan’s measurements in a while so I am not going to sit here and tell you how many pounds and percentages she lost….any old boot camp could do that.

But, what I am going to tell you is that Susan looks amazing. He clothes are getting baggier…and skimpier. He hair is looking shiny and youthful. Her energy is through the roof.

Susan takes the hardest option in class and always pushes through. She smiles more, she looks younger and her body has never been tighter. Now she won’t mind me telling you that while she is almost 50….she has tighter buns and better planks than many of the 20 year olds I know.

And why is this? How did Susan go from feeling frumpy and blah to a bad-ass boot camper with tighter buns than The Rock in less than 6 months?

It’s because she has a studio of trainers to push her. She has a nutritionist to heal her. She has a team of class mates who cheer her on.

Susan is a class act and has transformed her body and I know it’s because she has her cheerleading squad on her team every.dam.day.

When was the last time YOU had that? When was the last time someone cared about you that way?

Gyms know not of your existence, your outdoor boot camp doesn’t remember you from when they quit on your last fall and your Jillian Michaels DVD is about as supportive as a slap in the face.
