Now, for those of you have known me a looooong time, my very first business was a Personal Training company. No classes. Just personal training in the quaint, 400 sq foot studio I had in my Brooklin century home.
That's where it all started and honestly, we were packed. We were jammed. We often ran into parking and noise complaints as we tried to fill the demand for personal training. This is one of the reasons we had to move to Whitby, we needed more space for my ever growing training and nutrition business.
I know, 1st world problems eh?
Anyway, I want to go back to helping people on a one on one basis. Our team of trainers want fitness and health for everyone, regardless of ability, injury or confidence levels.
I don't want anyone to feel like our training won't work for them because it's done in a group setting. I don't want you to ever feel like my program won't work. Because it will.
Personal training, just the trainer and the client, is my roots, and well, I know many of you need the extra accountability, the extra push and of course, if there are any injuries (mental or physical) you need a trained expert to guide you through workouts to help you get to you goal while avoiding re-injury.
Personal training is what I turn to when I am feeling completely demotivated. I need the trainer to be my motivation, I need the trainer to help me out of a funk. In fact, during my most stressful time of life, I turned to our trainer Nassi to keep me focussed on my workouts.
She really new how to push me through and help me focus on myself. While the world pulled me in 100 directions, I needed her to keep me on track. And jeez, some days I would be such a bitch! I just moaned the entire session, but she knew to just keep pushing me through.
And after every workout, I always felt amazing and I was proud, the in light of an absolutely mental lifestyle, I still got my workouts in.
She saved my butt and got me back on track. I am now self motivated, back to running, back to boot camp and back to my own solo workouts.
So yeh, personal training costs more than our group training classes, but the amount of motivation you get out of it will be worth so much to you.
Now look, I haven't put the personal training page on the website yet…but it's coming. And when I open that up, it's going to fill up quick.
So, if you want try one on one sessions for a little while, you gotta let me know. As a bonus to you, you'll save $50 per month on your training…but only until I get the webpage up and we go public 🙂
Anyway, just wanted to let you know, I am going back to my roots and bringing my heart back to my business
