Time for confession. And who better than with 2000 of my closest readers.
So, since my divorce, I have drank too much wine.
No. I don’t wake up with the shakes. No, I don’t drink every day.
But, I drank too much for MY comfort level. For my knowledge level and for my auto-immune disorder.
I guess the stress of the the divorce, leaving my home, building a start up….
I guess all of that drove me back to my roots and into a bottle of lovely vintage red.
My dad is a heavy drinker, I worked in bars since I was 14 and so yeh…alcohol became a coping mechanism.
I’m not proud, but I bet you every single bloody drop of Pinot stopped me from exploding into a million bloody pieces.
ANYWAY….since learning that I was 100% an Obliger (see the previous 2 emails if this makes no sense), I figured I needed external accountability to kick the habit.
So, after the Gifted Entrepreneur Summit, it just so happened that some personal trainer dude from Australia did an FB live about how he had just completed 100 days booze free.
And so, I decided I could do it too.
If this guy can, I can too. And so, I sent this guy a message and told him that he was going to be accountability partner.
I don’t know him.
He doesn’t know me.
But because I am an Obliger, I am going to need him.
So, here we are 2 weeks in.
Booze free. Even during the move, the launch of a new program and new staffing.
See, I knew I could do this on my own (well, ok, alone AND with my mysterious new accountability buddy in Australia)..
So look, I have 2 offers for you today:
1 – if you want to join my 99 days booze free challenge, just reply and I’ll hook you up with the details
2 – If you know that you are a person who needs more accountability, more interaction and more daily check in’s to keep yourself on track them you should come try us out for 2 weeks.
You’ll see how EASY it can be when you have someone else to help you through:
Looking forward to it!
