So, this guy, a friend of a friend, hit me up on text last night.
He seemed kinda cool, into fitness, chatty. And so we exchanged a few messages back and forth and it wasn’t long before we got to chatting about my business and what I do.
And it was then I mentioned our HIT Hour Glass Fast Challenge that has swept through our membership like a weight loss fat burning fire.
I mentioned the fasting portion and how it was done and he seemed really interested and well…i’m a sucker for educating people about different aspects of clean living and so the conversation continued….
…until, about 15 minutes in, when he dropped the hammer on my head.
He went on a MA-HOO-SIVE rant about how dangerous it is, how it’s sooooo bad for metabolism, how I was…
…now get this….
….how I was only offering a fasting program so that I could keep all my members fat and then keeping making money off them (bahahahahaha).
Oh yeh. He slammed my professionalism as a nutritionist and bashed my weight loss knowledge until he ran out of derogatory terms.
It was like watching Canada Day fireworks…except with name calling and business bashing.
I was highly amused.
Needless to say, I deleted this waster from my phone. Who needs such small mindedness anyway?
But the thing is. He didn’t even listen to HOW we run our program. He didn’t even bother to research the background, the science or even ask about my extensive education and experience in weight loss.
Nah. He went on a rampage and when I inquired to his qualifications…he told he didn’t have any. He just “read a lot”.
So look, people are going to tell you the boot camp is too hard core, that cleansing, detoxing, fasting is unhealthy and unsafe and your friends and family are going to warn you against getting “too skinny” or “too muscly”…
…but guess what?
While these people spin themselves in circles, defending Google-science and ancient myths, we can just hit delete on their ass and move forward with our lives, our weight loss, our strength and our happiness.
Let miserable people be miserable.
If you think you are ready to move away from people that hold you back, if you truly feel your current circle of friends or family is actually detrimental to your health goals and if you feel like you want to be part of a non-judgemental, super healthy and motivating group of men and women…
…then grab a 2 week test drive today.
Say “later haterz” and come be my BFF.
