I dropped an F bomb yesterday and ruffled a lot of feathers

Now I know being called fat isn’t a great feeling.

Yesterday’s email wasn’t meant to discourage you. It was meant to wake you up. The F bomb (Fat) is a big no-no for many.

It evokes so much emotion that many of us tend to put our backs up against the wall and lash out. Whether it’s true or not, it doesn’t matter. We tend to associate that word with so many negative feelings.

Look, I’m no Joe six pack (yet). I’m fat too, but I’m working on it every single day. I have a plan in place and I am moving that needle.

Sometimes we all need a kick in the pants. Sometimes we need to face the harsh reality that is our current situation, take stock and move forward. Own the process, love yourself and move forward.

I want to share a little quote about life from the Italian Stallion Rocky Balboa that gives me chills every single time I hear it.

Do you think it was easy for me to admit last year that I was fat and needed help when I walked into boot camp for the first time with my tail between my legs? It definitely wasn’t. I was fat. I had no cardio. I was embarrassed and I had no plan.

I didn’t know what to do. All I knew was it was time for a change. Time to wake the Fugk up and do something about it.
