…but, if we go one step deeper we could also say that you should never judge a person by the chapter they are in.
Let me explain…
So, for example, say over the past 5 years you have gained about 40 pounds. Stress, illness, hormonal imbalance and "coping-carbs" have all contributed to this weight gain, and while you are not exactly proud of your new rolls, you can't exactly blame yourself for not being a super woman with 6 pack abs.
And so, as you opt for stretchy pants over skinny jeans, you simply hope that people don't judge this book by the chapter you are in.
You see, you will go through many ups and downs and peaks and valleys within your health.
You might be totally on top of your workouts and clean eating for a year and then the next year you might let it slide. Some years you might be in the best shape of your life, and some years you will feel like you are in the worst.
And guess what.
It's ok to weather these storms, and it's ok to have these moving targets. Shit happens right? But that doesn't mean you have to judge yourself based on where you are today.
If you need to lose 40 pounds GREAT, you can. If you join 10,000 Strong you know that the chapter you are in right now is just about to end.
Maybe you can't climb a set of stairs without huffing and puffing….AWESOME, if you work out 30 mins a day with out HIIT training program you'll running up those stairs by two's in 6 months.
Don't judge yourself by todays chapter – always look forward to where you are going.
Everything can be changed, one day at a time – trust me on this. It took me 912 days to lose 120 pounds…but I knew where I was going.
