Working out is so hard and uncomfortable, I'd rather just not…thanks bye
Oh I know. I know how it feels to workout and think OH MY GOD THIS IS SO HARD I'M NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE!
In fact, last Thursday, I had the exact same feeling….
I had been to a beasty Natalie lunchtime class, and I'm not sure if Nat is just mad at me or simply on a mission to destroy each of my muscles groups but..
… The Thursday workout was tough. And then, because I am a glutton for punishment, I decided to join Nassi and Kristie for a run after class…
And see, while I used to be a long distance runner.. I haven't ran consistently in a couple of years.
Here and there ya know. The odd 4-5k. Just for old times sake (or because I binged on carbs…)
Anyway, this run I did with Speedy 1 and Speedy 2 nearly killed me.
There was wheezing, there was panting and there was more than one unscheduled Misty walk-break.
I was not only dying from crippling cardio…I was also throughly distraught with my running ability.
…and because I suck so bad at running these days, I tend to avoid it.
But the hardest workout of them all is the very first one back.
That first run back was tough but guess what:
THE ONLY WAY TO GET BETTER IS TO KEEP DOING IT.
So, while I know that your first boot camp will feel 100% insane, all you gotta do is keep going.
And sooner than later you will get stronger and exercises that once were impossible are now manageable.
And you start to get confident with this bootcamping thing… And before you know it, a year has gone by and you are now one of our top Ambassadors!
So guess what, it all starts with a 2 week test drive and lucky for you I have that link right here:
The first one is the hardest and then it's smooth sailing from there
