This email is PART 2 of the most important information you will ever learn about your fitness journey.
If you have not read part 1 from yesterday, please read that first.
Thank you for all your responses, it was enlightening and entertaining.
And, I would like to inform you all, that by a gigantic landslide, that most of my readers fall in to “Obligers” personality type.
So let’s start there shall we?
Fitness Rules for Obligers:
Ok you lot…you cannot and will not reach your goals on your own.
Never gonna happen.
You, like me, need max accountability. You won’t come to boot camp on your own, but if there was a friend or trainer expecting you, you would show up no problem.
If you start a meal plan or new nutrition protocol on your own you are doomed BUT join a group of people and check in daily and you will succeed.
It’s time to face the music and understand that you are going to need an accountability pack to keep you on track. So find one. Find us. That’s our thang ya know.
Fitness Rules for Upholders.
You lot rock. Obligers secretly wish they had a bit more of the Upholder “get up and go” when it comes to fitness goals and results.
But I want you to know something else…being too structured with your workouts and eating will burn you out, will bring on plateaus and will ensure you slowly but surely HATE working out.
Your control over food will restrict your experiences in life and you know something….letting go a little is ok. And GOOD for you.
I don’t want you to feel trapped by your commitments so understand that getting a little loose sometimes is A-OK.
Fitness Rules for Questioners.
My dear Questioner. You need to stop questioning and start doing.
I respect your patience and the fact that you will stop to collect the data and facts before making a move…trust me, I am a very instinctual woman and act emotionally all the time.
But, if you have been searching high and low for a fitness program and haven’t actually done anything about it yet….it’s time to stop searching and just something. Anything.
If you hate it, then do something else. You have all the time in the world you know.
Fitness Rules for Rebels.
Well my little Rebels, what to do with you?
I can’t ask you to abide by any structured program. I can’t pair you up with an accountability buddy. I can’t even ask to come workout with you.
So my advice is this:
If you want to get fit and healthy but the thought of being held accountable makes you want to puke, then simply show up to workouts, do your thing, keep your head down and simply enjoy the time on your own.
Our unlimited schedule makes it possible for you to slip in and out of the studio whenever you feel like it.
Ok, so hopefully that helped a little bit. Hopefully I have knocked any delusions out of your head. Hopefully you act on this information and make your fitness journey a little easier on yourself.
10,000 Strong is a nutrition and fitness studio that welcomes and understands all personality types. Yes. Even Rebels 😉
So come one, come all and try us out for 2 weeks:
Tomorrow I’ll tell you a little tale about an Obliger I know and how she overcame her secret addiction.
