I was driving to Starbucks on Friday and I was contemplating what my workout would be for the day. I had originally planned a heavy squat workout with a friend but she called me sick with cooties.
So, I figured screw it..i’ll hop to the Bucks, grab an Americano, take the dog for a walk and hit up some stair sprints.
I figured i’d get through 20 mins of stairs and call it a day.
Well, as I was driving down Thickson, my brain said:
“you know, if you just keep going, you’d be at boot camp and then you could get in a proper workout AND you wouldn’t have to think about it OR motivate yourself to do it”.
Now there’s a thought.
If I just kept going, I could have have Coach Kristie kick my ass for me. I just had to do as I was told.
Well, as hard as it is to go to boot camp some days…it’s ALWAYS harder to workout on your own.
And, the absolute WORST is screwing off entirely and not working out at all.
So, I kept driving straight and had a killer workout which ended with an awesome partner ab workout with long time member Jen.
I know it’s hard some days to get to boot camp. Or even join a fitness program.
But NOT going to boot camp is harder. Being miserable with your body is hard. Hating your reflection is hard. Wishing your clothes would zip shut is hard.
DOING NOTHING AT ALL IS HARDER THAN COMING TO WORKOUT AT 10,000 STRONG.
I’m NOT a fitness bunny, I do NOT love working out and I my life does NOT revolve around being a fitness superstar.
My life does however revolve around making myself mentally and physically happy and strong.
So yeh. That’s what kept me driving straight to boot camp.
I do have a little 12 day detox coming up ya know (unless you live under a rock, you know about this detox).
This would be the perfect time to test my theory. To see if you can do it. To see if you think my boot camp make working out easy and fun.
You’ll never know until you try it. 50 people and counting signed up.
They all know how 10,000 Strong makes living the good life easy peasy.
So read more details here. You won’t have to buy a new fall wardrobe after this detox…you can use last years:
See ya soon
