…and, just like any long term business, I see other businesses come and go. I see the park boot camps shut up shop in Winter. I see hopeful trainers open up studios with no business training and running of whimpering with their tails between their legs.
And, I also see new shiny, sparkly fitness iDisco’s come and go too.
Don’t worry, i’m not here to bash the new kid in town. That’s silly. But I am here to remind you about a few home truths about what it takes to get healthy, drop the weight and…
…most importantly, keep health and wellness at the top of your priority list.
You see the thing is fitness has to be convenient. Let’s be honest, cardio sucks balls. Huffing and puffing and wheezing is not really a fun-time for many people, so it goes without saying you won’t want to be doing that for any longer than 30 minutes.
You are going to get real tired about forcing your body to do what it hates and so this is why are classes are a very quick, very effective 30 minutes…why spend an hour doing something that could be accomplished in half the time?
Now, another thing about cardio…..
…cardio does not create strong bodies. Cardio does not create toned bodies. Cardio alone will not sculpt you.
It will make you skinny. But skinny is pointless.
You want abs? You gotta lift weights. You want toned arms, you gotta lift weights. You want a tight ass…yep, you gotta lift weights.
Cardio is NOT the key folks. A kick ass, weight workout is.
And thus, our short 30 minute workouts are stuffed full of booty building workouts that give you a cardio workout at the same time.
Effective. Very effective.
Yeh I know my studio doesn’t have strobe lights, heart rate monitors or flashy tech to dazzle you with…
